Four Generations - Family Photos - Nov. 2020
Family photos are always a special occasion but this was an extra special shoot that included four generations! Thats right… baby girl, mom, grandma and two great grandmas! Capturing the older generations with the newest generation is such a great idea and everyone will be delighted to have the photos for decades to come.

Oh my goodness…. how stunning is this Abq. mommy to be! This shoot was so much fun I love these photos and can’t wait to do more in the future. Mom was such a trooper when the evening turned out to be colder than we expected but we got some amazing shots and she earned her hot cocoa!
The Last Leaves of Fall - Family Photos - Nov. 2020
Have I mentioned how grateful I am for returning clients? I had several this November and it makes me so happy to catch up and see how everyone is doing especially now. I love this close-knit family of beautiful, smart and mature girls and their proud Dad.
Happily Ever After - Wedding - Nov. 2020
One thing about the Covid-19 situation is that is has really made people creative. This lovely couple who had postposed a spring wedding had the FANTASTIC idea of getting their bride and groom photos done BEFORE the wedding. I love this idea for so many reasons. First, wedding days even when smooth can be stressful. Why not book where you and your groom can relax and enjoy a full hour of portraits instead of trying to cram them in-between vows and cake? Secondly, you have more control of location and time. This couple was able to take advantage of the last of the fall color and the golden hour and we captured some amazing shots! Lastly, you can share the photos at the ceremony and reception, they make lovey decorations and talking pieces. Beautiful photos are also a way to share a special event with those who can’t be here right now and makes even distant relatives feel included.
I love creativity! Elopements, first looks, unique weddings… tell me your ideas, together I’m sure we can make it magical!
Fall Family Photos - Bosque - Nov. 2020
November is here already and in Thanksgiving tradition: I am thankful for all my clients and I especially love when I get to work with the same families several years in a row. Seeing your kids grow and change is such a blessing. But even more than that it means so much to me that you clients trust me with their family photos and memories!

It’s not often that we get the opportunity to take photos in the snow here so I was super excited when I saw three days of snow in the forecast. It’s so much fun to try something new!

It was a glowing evening and I can’t be happier with how well these turned out. Of course my job is easy when I have such an easy and beautiful baby to work with!
Happily Ever After - Wedding - Sept. 2020
Due to the restrictions on gatherings this couple had to change their plans for their big wedding. Their family pulled together and hosted a beautiful backyard ceremony and small reception and we had the opportunity to get glowing bride and groom photos thanks to the California wildfire smoke… when life gives you lemons right?

This is the second time I have photographed for this wonderful family. This time it was for Cole’s senior photos. Cole plays Golf and he wanted to incorporate that into his Senior Portraits, his mom suggested the UNM Duck Pond for a location and we were able to get a great mix of photos!

But it was definitely worth the wait and we had the most fun family portrait session with two adorable kiddos and perfect weather.

Little did we know when we were walking through the Bosque on a perfect March evening that we would all be in for a big shock the next day when the whole world (or so it seemed) would shut down. When I look back on this photoshoot it will always be a little surreal. Watching these adorable boys running through the amber lit fields it became a real, “Catcher in the Rye” moment.
