Senior Portraits - Old Town Abq. - Nov. 2019
It’s Senior Season! These young men and women only have one semester left and it’s be perfect time to commemorate and celebrate them with photos that will last a lifetime. Kambria’s session was extra special because of her families deep connection with the Plaza and her parish church.
Holiday Family Photos - Old Town Abq. - Dec. 2019
Old Town is always a great location to take your family photos but it is especially lovely in December. All the shops decorate for the holidays, the air is crisp and the light is perfect. Just look at how beautiful Marquielle and her lovely mom are. And the one thing that makes it even more fun… inviting your dog along for some glamor shots (check out his Santa jingle bell)!
First Family Photos - La Cueva Stone Cabin - Dec. 2019
One of my favorites is when my clients are super excited for their upcoming shoots. I knew from the minute she booked we were going to have a blast shooting Misty’s first ever family photos. Misty is the sweetest and we captured some amazing shots of her wife and daughter at one of the best locations in the Abq. area, the La Cueva Stone Cabin.
Baby Soren - Back for More - Dec. 2019
When I first met baby Soren and her beautiful mom it was for an extended family session her mother had booked this summer. And while the entire family was lovely, baby Soren stole the show. I was so excited when her mom contacted me to do some holiday photos of their sweet family of three. I’ll admit it got a little chilly as the sun set but we had such a great time and Soren didn’t complain one bit.

I don’t get the opportunity to do newborn sessions very often but when I do I love them. Working with babies takes a special touch and patience but when you get shots likes these it makes me want to do nothing else!
Laura, Darren, Tig & Whiskey - Horse and Rider - Nov. 2019
Okay so I know you’re not supposed to pick favorites but I have to admit I am sooooo in love with this shoot. Not only are Lauren and Darren the most lovely couple but the location they chose and the horses from Red Horse Riding Company all came together to create the most beautiful equestrian shoot we could have asked for.
Guys, take notes: Darren surprised Laura with a kid-free mini vacation last weekend in New Mexico (they came all the way from Minnesota). He arranged a trip to Santa Fe, hot air balloon ride, trail ride and a photoshoot. How great is he?!!
Can’t wait for more Horse & Rider and equestrian shoots in the future!

I love it when families ask me if they can bring their dogs. For this shoot we included another lady in this beautiful Mommy and Me shoot, Lilly the Vizsla.

October has to the most beautiful month in Albuquerque. The weather has been amazing and the mosque has literally been picture perfect. I love these first fiesta photos they are so cute and we all had so much fun.
Faris Family - Family Photos - Oct. 2019
How beautiful is this family?! The Faris family needed to update their family photos and they picked the perfect time of year to do it. The bosque is so lovely in the evenings (despite the few lingering mosquitoes) and the leaves are just starting to turn. We had such a fun time climbing trees, swinging on the rope swing and enjoying the pink Sandias as the sun began to set. Such a lovely family with incredibly polite, smart and funny kids!
Gracelynn Rose - Fall Theme Baby Photos - Sept. 2019
Mamma Whitney received a photoshoot as a gift from her lovely sister and wanted to use it to capture her sweet baby Gracelynn! She put together the best outfits and brought the cutest props also. I love it when my mommas are inspired and help put together the best scenes.

Look at these cuties! This family is the sweetest and everyone was so kind and fun. It was such a lovely way to spend the evening. Baby Cozie was so adorable and she loved the sunflowers!

Look at these adorable kiddos! They had so much fun walking in the bosque and picking sunflowers. Fall is the best season to take your family phots, the weather is cooling off, the leaves are turning colors and you will have them just in time for the holidays to share with friends and family.

I met baby Leliana’s parents at a wonderful location in the foothills and we captured so many beautiful photos of Leliana and her lovely parents! She was so cute and had so much fun!
Fa-tia and Edwin - Engagement Photos - Sept. 2019
Fa-tia called me a few months ago with a beautiful idea for her engagement photos. She wanted to know if we could shoot in the Sandia Mountains and get a forest feel. Her photos turned out so stunning. I can’t wait for more forest shoots! Albuquerque has so many amazing places to take photos the possibilities are endless.

With all the events I’ve been covering lately it was nice to get a break to shoot the cutest little family over the weekend. Baby girl has just turned 1 while her sweet big brother is 2! They were so much fun and I am in love with the way these photos turned out!
Valencia Valley Kennel Club - Agility Trial - July 26, 27, & 29, 2019
Agility is such an amazing sport to do with your dog. I train two of my dogs in agility but this weekend I was fortunate enough to be able to photograph an agility event here in Albuquerque where hundred of teams from the tiniest of terriers to the fastest collies and even large retrievers jumped, climbed and raced to get through the course with the fastest times and fewest errors.

Fast Action Dogs - Freedom Splash - July 7, 2019

Watermelon Kisses - June 2019
Happy First Birthday Ava! I love it when clients bring props and create their own personalized experience. I really love New Mexico Ghost Towns. There are so many and they are all so charming and filled with history. What better way to celebrate a 4th Birthday than to photograph a little cowgirl in the wild west!
Five Generation Family Photoshoot - April 2019
How often do you get to photograph five generations at once! To celebrate their great-great grandmother’s birthday this lovely family arranged a photo session in the bosque this past Sunday. Photo sessions make great gifts and I know this family will cherish these photos for generations to come.

Diablo Canyon Portrait Session - March 2019
At the end of March I took a short trip with an old friend for a portrait session at Diablo Canyon, a little known hiking spot in Santa Fe National Forest. I love the way these photos came out and we had so much fun! You don’t need a reason to get professional portraits, sometimes it’s nice to treat yourself to a glamorous afternoon!
